What is ALONE?

ALONE is a fully immersive, walk through experience which you participate at times in the company of others, but mostly by yourself. Lying somewhere in-between art installation and immersive theater, ALONE is only for people who are 18 years of age or older. You must sign a waiver to participate.

Do I have to go through alone?

Yes. ALONE explores the conditions of the human experience in all forms. Some experiences you may find yourself in a group situation, but as in life, you will eventually find yourself to be alone. You may arrive with a friend, and wait to rejoin them at the end, but the experience is meant for you to be alone.

Where is ALONE going to be held?

The experience will take place in the Melbourne CBD. You will be contacted by ALONE with details on your meeting point 24 hours prior to your ticketed date and time. Please be sure to thoroughly read all correspondence carefully and forward on to any other persons in your party.

What are the rules of ALONE?

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Participants may only participate alone.

You must arrive at EXACTLY your selected time. Late arrivals will forfeit their time slot.


All participants are required to sign a legal waiver. This document is required for entry.

This experience is not recommended for audience members who are not in good physical or mental health, are pregnant, suffer from vertigo, or have back or neck problems.

You may be made to stand, run, walk, crawl, climb stairs, be physically touched, moved and handled by our performers, get wet, get dirty, and wear face paint and pigment/dyes. You will also experience moments of complete darkness, fog, strobe lights and other theatrical effects.

Audiences are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes. ABSOLUTELY NO FLIP FLOPS OR HIGH HEELS.

You may be offered food or beverages during the experience. Please consume these offerings at your own will.

You may get wet or dirty during the experience. Please dress appropriately. ALONE is not responsible for damage to clothing.

Bags, purses, coats and personal belongings are not permitted during the experience. We suggest you leave them at home or in your vehicle. There will be a coat check available for you just in case.

Please keep your essentials in your pocket (ID, a bit of cash, or credit card) in case of emergency.

When in the dark or with an actor you may not pull your phone or electronic device out and use it or turn on a light. If you do so you will be ejected from the experience.

No outside food or beverages are allowed.

We reserve the right to eject any audience member from the premises due to inappropriate or disruptive behavior, at any time, without refund.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to the show to anyone who appears intoxicated, at the discretion of our staff. Please do not come to ALONE intoxicated.

Recording of any kind (photography, video, or audio) is prohibited inside of the experience. Participants who violate this rule will be removed without refund.

How long should I allow for the entire ALONE experience?

We suggest allowing 1-2 hours from the time you arrive.

Late arrivals may forfeit their entry with no refund.

What do I need to bring?

We suggest bringing valid photo identification. You may be asked to present it at the Box Office to confirm your tickets.

Also, please bring a charged mobile device capable of streaming an audio track, and a set of earphones.

Other than that it’s best to bring nothing or as little as possible. A coat check will be available. Cameras or other recording devices will not be permitted inside the event. If you are discovered to be using such a device, you will be immediately removed from the experience.

Do I need to be able to run?

Due to the extreme nature of our event, we suggest all participants should be able to run, jump, crawl, climb stairs and get dirty.

Can I wear High Heels?

No. Flip flops, high heels and open toed shoes/sandals will not be allowed inside ALONE. Sorry, also no costumes or masks are allowed. Please wear clothes that can get wet or dirty. ALONE will NOT be responsible for your cleaning bills.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, you will be asked to sign a Release of Liability with your legal name, acknowledging that you are at least 18 years old, and are willing to participate in an event at your own risk. If you choose not to sign the waiver, you will not be allowed to participate, and your ticket will NOT be refunded.

Can I take pictures?

No cameras, cell phones or other recording devices will be allowed.

Is their public transportation near ALONE?

Yes. Location information will be disclosed to you by email 24-hours prior to your experience, but it will be near public transportation in the Melbourne CBD.

Will there be parking nearby?

Yes. Street parking and paid parking lots are in the area. Park at your own risk.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

If any tickets remain available on the night of the experience, they will be available for purchase at the door.
